Born from the expertise gained during the development of Cayin’s prestigious A-845 Pro 25th Anniversary model, it delivers a remarkable power output of 2 x 130 watts in ultralinear mode or 2 x 75 watts in triode mode.
Its class AB design uses the latest Tungsol KT170 power tubes, allowing it to combine the characteristic warmth of tube amplifiers with the sonic authority usually reserved for transistor amplifiers.

The Soul 170i stands out for its carefully orchestrated tube configuration. At the heart of the device are four Tungsol KT170 tubes (two per channel) for the power stage, selected for their ability to deliver warm, rich sound and impressive amplification power. The preamplification stage uses 6SN7 tubes, while voltage amplification relies on ECC83S tubes. A 22DE4 rectifier tube completes the power supply section.
The device is built with hand-crafted point-to-point wiring, an artisanal method that ensures signal integrity. Every component is meticulously selected for its sonic qualities: ALPS potentiometer, porcelain tube sockets, audiophile-grade capacitors, and carbon film resistors. The toroidal power transformer ensures stable energy output with extremely low noise levels.
