160″ Indigo 4:3 Tab-Tension Motorised Screen
The 160″ Indigo 4:3 Tab-Tension Motorised Screen uses the same brilliant standards of high grade screen fabric and tubular motor design, simply in a slim-line wall or ceiling mounted enclosure.
These are great for churches, boardrooms and home theatre spaces where they are used a lot, and over time you can keep the screen flat and wave free.
The tubular motor on the Indigo screen with inbuilt controls runs smooth and silently. The elegant powder coated white aluminum housing is rust resistant. A unique triangular bottom weight bar enables a superb flat viewing experience and disappears into the main housing when closed. The screen fabric lies super flat through the fiber glass backed matte white screen fabric, colours are vivid and crisp with the latest generation projectors.
There are plenty of options for controlling your screen – you can choose between a 12V trigger from your projector; or integrate with a control system using RS232 commands; use the extension IR sensor plug socket or just the handy palm size IR remote.
For the IR to function you must be within a 10 meter range of the screen. Distances longer than 10 meters the remote will function via the built in RF (optional accessory). Due to the unique nature and design of the inbuilt electronics, the remote cannot be learnt with a Universal learning Remote.

Features
The 4:3 aspect ratio in film refers to a frame that is four units wide by three units tall, also known as 1.33:1. This was the standard aspect ratio for 35mm celluloid film and early television, as well as the dimensions of early computer monitors, earning it the name “fullscreen”.
While less common in mainstream cinema today due to the popularity of widescreen formats, some filmmakers are choosing to use it again, finding it aesthetically pleasing and suitable for certain types of stories.

Why tab-tension?
Tab Tensioned Motorised projector screens are for connoisseurs who demand perfection and professional video presentations.
Yes they are considerably more expensive than a non-tab tensioned motorised screen but they are the only solution that comes close to a fixed frame screen.
All pull down screens both manual and motorised will never lay perfectly flat due to the nature of the design, tab tensioning pulls the screen fabric in all four directions tight eliminating waves and wrinkles. The black masking provides further enhancement of masking the image thus improving the overall contrast for the most discerning.
Screen Fabric
A glass fibre matte white surface with four layer structure ensures the best possible flat surface on the screen. With an advanced optical coating technology, the fabric improves its brightness and uniformity, therefore it works perfectly with all projector types.
