Surprising jump in sound quality

Replaces a Meridian Explorer 2, driving DT770 80 ohm headphones. A bit extravagant for the price (!) but surprised at the jump in clarity; actually manages to be distractingly engaging. Seems to be ruthlessly transparent, so if you want "warm" / analogue (which I didn't), this probably isn't for you. External build quality looks very good; time will tell on its internal build quality, but no complaints so far. Very happy with it.

Brand new I/V conversion
A brand new I/V conversion circuit is designed for better quality audio reproduction. The unique circuit design provided lower distortion, and lower noise while occupying less space. The new circuit is pushed close to the limit of physics so that we are able to squeeze out the last bit of performance of the DAC Chip.

Built-in NFCA Headphone amp
The new DX7 Pro+ has the NFCA circuit optimized for this unit, giving ultra-low noise and distortion. It pairs with high sensitivity 1EMs and power-hungry high impedance headphones nicely.


4-PIN-XLR, 4.4mm and 6.35mm
DX7 Pro+ has 3 output headphone jacks of 4-PIN-XLR, 4.4mm and 6.35mm to meet different usages. Besides, with the help of 2 gain setting, DX7 Pro+ could reach even wider adoption could of different headphones.


Step volume control
The encoder makes the step volume control more accurate and convenient. Even if the volume is adjusted to a small volume, there will not be any channel balance problems


Multiple output mode
By double-clicking the volume knob, you can choose from four output modes: “Headphone Amp”, “Headphone Amp + Line Out”, “DAC”, and “Pre-amplifier” to adapt to more application scenarios.


Selectable output
DX7 Pro+ has balanced XLR output and single-ended RCAA output. You can choose “XLR only”, “RCA only” or “XLR+RCA” output for different applications.


IS input supports up to DSD512 native
When there is a better interface, you can use the HDMI cable to directly send the IIS signal into the DX7 Prot’s ESS9038PRO for better decode. 1IS input can support up to PCM32bit768kHz & DSD512native. The IS input provides phase settings, DSD channel settings, and DSD indicator pin selection settings, which are compatible with most digital interfaces on the market that use the HDMI interface to output IS signals.


Plug and play, turn your PC into a HIFI source
DX7 Pro+ has a wide range of compatibility: Windows 10 and above, MAC, Linux, IOS, and Android can be plug and play. DX7 Pro+ uses 2nd generation 8 core XMOS XU208, USB supports up to PCM32bit768kHz, and DSD512 native.


LDAC 24bit96kHz Bluetooth transmission
DX7 Pro+ has the certification of Hi-Res Audio Wireless and LDAC. It uses newest QCC5125 chipset to support LDAC/AAC/SBC/aptX/aptX LL/aptX HD/aptX Adaptive protocol. To get even better sound quality from Bluetooth, we abandon the built-in DAC of QCc5125 and connect its digital signal to ES9038PRO to decode.


Sound simulation
According to the unique harmonic performance of tubes and transistors, we added the sound simulation function of tubes and transistors to the DX7 Prot, so that you can hear 3 different performances.


12V Trigger interface
The DX7 Pro+ is equipped with a 12V Trigger interface, which can be set to active control (Trigger out) or passive control (Trigger in). With only one easy-to-obtain 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable, the DX7 Prot can be turned on and off synchronously with other devices equipped with a 12V Trigger interface.
