Ordering from Rapallo was straight forward. I had some initial questions which they investigated for me and replied promptly. The DAC arrived within the time frame they said and it was well packed. There was a USB cable included but no power cord, so make sure you have a spare available (a standard IEC 60320 C13 plug).
I'm very happy with the DAC. I'm mainly streaming FLAC files from a NAS box attached by Wi-Fi to a BlueSound Node X. From the Node I'm using a USB cable to the Holo and balanced cables to my amplifier. It all works fine - there is no delay (I read about PLL locking issues online, but haven't had any problem) and it sounds really good. Significantly better than the DAC in the Node, of course. I only turn it to Mute rather than turning the power off so it does stay a bit warm all the time, though.

Always Awesome to deal with the Rapalloav Team. Before you buy a new set of speakers try the Gaia 2 speaker isolaters. This is probably one of best speaker accessory items available. Everything gets elevated, the bass is tighter and deeper, soundstage and stereo imaging is more open and pronounced....Always Awesome to deal with the Rapalloav Team. The Marantz Model 50 has enhanced my listening pleasure immensely. The biggest gain was on the CD input which has large size RCA inputs. I have a nice Audiolab CD deck and the improvement on the CD play back was so noticeable, smooth and clean and so much more detail. I upgraded from a Marantz 5005 amplifier which had nice musicality but the improvement is immense.
Vinyl play back is also a joy to listen to, the phono stage is very fine for a built in. Vinyl is present , warm and clean and very neutral.
I have a friend with a Craft Audio preamp and power amp and he loves the sound of the Marantz. ( high praise indeed)
I can highly recommend this item if you love 2 channel music playback and you want to enjoy the warmth of your music playback.
I have my set up in a large lounge, with a Rega 3 turntable and older Paradigm speakers. At the price point i think the Marantz is a very fine amplifier.

I wanted to replace my earlier streamer, a D-Stream Primo, with a wireless streamer that was also Roon Ready. A little online research suggested the NODE was a good option. An online purchase and delivery within 2 days all too easy. Connection and setup was straight forward. First try was with the...I wanted to replace my earlier streamer, a D-Stream Primo, with a wireless streamer that was also Roon Ready. A little online research suggested the NODE was a good option. An online purchase and delivery within 2 days all too easy. Connection and setup was straight forward. First try was with the BluOS app and Tidal. An improved listening experience was immediately apparent. Next try was to use Roon and the NODE was found with no problems. Now I can stream my whole digital library to my office stereo system. I paired the NODE with my Antipodes server/player and bingo multiroom audio. All I had hoped for I am one happy camper. Next will be some outside speakers and Bluesound PowerNode.

Bought a display model for a really good price and very fast free delivery to the SI. Paired the speakers with a Yamaha R-N800A in a 27m2 room. I am enjoying the clarity of vocals and acoustic instruments, the bass is precise and dry but with rock music a bit underwhelming.
