The GoldenEar T66 Tower Speaker with Powered Bass honors the critically acclaimed Triton Series. Sharing a similarly tall, slender profile; built-in DSP-controlled subwoofer amplification; and a driver complement comprising GoldenEar’s High-Velocity Folded Ribbon AMT tweeter, cast-basket mid/bass units, quadratic planar radiators, and long-throw powered sub-bass section.

Several important cosmetic and sonic refinements distinguish the new T66 from previous GoldenEar speakers. These include:

• a dramatically augmented crossover design,
• high-quality internal wiring,
• a new cast-aluminum base and metal grille, and,
• in addition to GoldenEar’s Gloss Black cabinet finish, a vibrant Santa Barbara Red.

A Solid Foundation

Sturdy, adjustable cast-aluminum base features aluminum feet to accommodate tile or wood floors. Optional spikes thread into the bottom of the feet to minimize energy loss and further optimize sonic performance.

High-Quality Binding Posts — Now BiWireable

Two pairs of binding posts accommodate biwiring and feature improved materials to minimize distortion. Includes AudioQuest’s Direct-Gold Plated Bare Naked Jumpers.

High-Definition Mid/Bass Drivers

GoldenEar’s cast-basket mid/bass drivers feature an improved yoke assembly to minimize distortion and employ Multi-Vaned Phase Plugs for excellent off-axis response.
