Isco Anamorphic Lens Attachment III
For 3-chip DLP & LCD Projectors
Anamorphic Video Attachments:
With anamorphic lens technology, ISCO offers a solution for optical image conversion without a loss in light or resolution for the various image formats commonly used in D-Cinema, E-Cinema, Home Cinema and Business Applications.
A universal attachment with the appropriate anamorphic factor (1.33x, 1.42x or 1.77x) allows the projection of a 16:9 format, a 1.85:1 Widescreen- or 2.35:1 Cinemascope format with a 4:3 projector or the projection of a 2.35:1 Cinemascope format or a 4:3 format with a 16:9 projector. With the factor 1.77 it is now possible to fill a 2.35:1 Cinemascope screen without light loss or loss in resolution using a 4:3 projector (SXGA+ or XGA). Our anamorphic video attachment can be used with almost all projector types. The attachment is placed on a stand (optional extras) in front of the prime lens of the projector. Instead of being electronically
decompressed, the projected DVD image is optically decompressed. This means that, because the complete panel size is used, there is no light loss during projection. Using the advanced technology of the anamorphic lens, you have no more black bars across the top and bottom of the picture area, lowering the resolution, brightness and contrast of the image on the screen. With an optical image conversion, the brilliance and magnificence of the original format is sustained.

of a 5-element lens system, each anamorphic lens weighs about 11 lb.
Already in 1999 the digital cinema was born! The new movie Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace was projected digitally in some theatres before it was introduced to the classical multiplex theatres.
Today a new technology – tomorrow the standard!
